Born out of the fiery DIY depths of the Asbury Park NJ music scene,
sports on the radio
manifested as an experimental indie rock band blending modern emo, folk and garage-inspired alternative rock into something immersive, present and flowing. Fronted by singer-songwriter Chris Cicio. The band channels a raw and gritty interpretation of life through twinkly guitars, chunky bass, driving percussion and cutting emotional vocals. Similar artists include Modern Baseball, Turnstile, Hot Mulligan, Pinegrove...etc.

Sunday 7/26 @ 12pm (stripped) - $12/$20
WRECK FEST hosted by Red House Music Studio in Point Pleasant, NJ! This is an all day music festival intended to raise money for The Future of Sound Foundation, a non-profit that supports kids pursuing musical careers. We're kicking off the festival at noon with a stripped acoustic emo/folk set and will be followed by other local artists The Sharks, Red House Band, Beach Daze, In My Basement, and Not Yer Baby
